Wakeland PTSA Senior Scholarships
through Frisco Education Foundation
Eligibility and Application
One of the primary reasons in forming the Wakeland High School PTSA is to be able to offer scholarships to graduating seniors. Each year, we will give up to four $500 scholarships through the Frisco Educational Foundation (FEF), as funds allow.
As stated in our Texas PTA approved Standing Rules,
- Wakeland High School PTSA will fund one $500 Frisco Education Foundation Scholarship each to a maximum of four graduating high school students, as funds allow.
- The Frisco Education Foundation will select the students according to the following criteria:
- Student will have attended Wakeland High School.
- Student will have been a member of Wakeland PTSA for the number of years they have been enrolled at Wakeland High School.
- Student will have completed 20 service hours.
- The funds may be used for any furthering accredited education program such as a 4-year college, junior college, trade or technical school, etc.
